[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 9122E Avon Rubber PLC 15 February 2018 \n\n15 February 2018\nAVON RUBBER p.l.c.\nUK MoD General Service Respirator Agreement\n \nAvon Rubber p.l.c. is pleased to confirm that, further to the announcement that it was the preferred bidder for the above contract on 3 November 2017, Avon Protection has now entered into a 5 year contract with the UK Ministry of Defence (\"MoD\") for the resupply and in-service support of its General Service Respirator. \nProduction is expected to commence during the first half of 2019, after product approvals are complete, with the contract anticipated to generate revenues in the order of £16 million over the 5 year period.
