('Avon' or the 'Company')\n Employee Share Ownership Trust\n\nFurther to an announcement on 13 June 2007, Avon Rubber p.l.c (the 'Company')\nhas been advised by Towers Perrin Share Plan Services (Guernsey) Limited, in its\ncapacity as trustee of the Company's Employee Share Ownership Trust (the\n'Trust'), that it disposed of 666,190 ordinary shares of £1 each in the Company\non 14 June 2007 and has, conditional upon a successful application for listing,\napplied for the subscription of 666,191 shares in the Company.\n\nThe following directors and persons discharging managerial responsibility are\npotential beneficiaries of the Trust by virtue of their participation in the\nCompany's Performance Share Plan 2002.
