(OTC PINK: AVEW) today announced the State of Texas has designated AVEW Holdings Inc. & all subsidiaries as a HUB (Historically Underutilized Business). This designation requires state and federal agencies to use HUB companies to solicit bids for state purchasing and public works construction and services. The state mandates a certain percentage of all state funded projects be awarded to companies with a HUB status.\n In addition to state agencies and educational institutions, prime contractors doing public works must use HUB subcontractors as required by state and federal guidelines. State and federal contracts utilize the Centralized Master Bidders List to solicit bids.\n State and federal assisted contracts, educational institutions, and state bonded projects, require a HUB subcontracting plan as a provision for awarding state contracts.
