DELIVERY OF NINTH ATR72 AIRCRAFT
The Directors of Avation PLC (LSE: AVAP), the commercial passenger aircraft leasing company have
the pleasure of announcing that the Company has taken delivery of its ninth new ATR 72 aircraft.
This aircraft is the third in the ATR 72-600 type aircraft to be delivered to date.
Avation has now taken delivery of seven ATR 72´s directly from the manufacturer and two additional
new ATR 72 aircraft from another source, making a total fleet of nine ATR aircraft. This latest
aircraft will be leased to the Australian carrier Skywest Airlines, which will operate the
aircraft on behalf of Virgin Australia under the Virgin Australia brand.
Commenting today, Jeff Chatfield, Chairman of Avation said: "The delivery of this ATR 72 aircraft
is a continuing testament to our commitment to strengthen and modernise our existing fleet. The
quality and term of the lease makes it a very attractive deal for our Company and one which will
contribute positively to the continuing growth of the Company's revenues and profits."
