("Avante" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that, effective September 7, 2010, Raghu Sampath was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation.\nMr. Sampath is an experienced finance professional having worked more than 15 years in various service related industries, including, staffing, oilfield services and public accounting. Mr. Sampath will bring a global perspective to his role as he has worked in diverse environments over three continents.\nPrior to joining Avante, Mr. Sampath spent seven years at Sapphire Technologies Canada (formerly CNC Global limited), Canada's largest IT Staffing Company where he was responsible for all finance and accounting functions of the company. Prior to Sapphire Technologies Canada, Mr. Sampath worked at MB Petroleum Group of Companies where he worked for six years as a controller in Oman, Hungary and Germany. Previously, he was with KPMG LLP in the Sultanate of Oman for three years where he was engaged in audit and assurance matters.\nMr. Sampath has a Master's degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech in the U.S.A. He also holds a Chartered Accountant designation from his native India.\nAvante also announces that Gasper Santaguida will resign his position at the Corporation effective October 1, 2010 to pursue other business interests.
