(NASDAQ:AUPH) (TSX:AUP) (“Aurinia” or the “Company”), a late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company focused on advancing voclosporin in multiple indications, today announced that it has commenced a registered underwritten public offering of its common shares (the “Offering”).\n\n\nJefferies and SVB Leerink are acting as joint book-running managers for the Offering.\n\n\nThe Company will grant the underwriters an option exercisable, in whole or in part, in the sole discretion of the underwriters, to purchase up to an additional 15% of common shares, for a period of up to 30 days. The Offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the Offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the Offering.\n\n\nThe Company intends to use the net proceeds of the Offering for pre-commercialization and launch activities, research and development, as well as working capital and general corporate purposes.\n\n\nThe Offering is subject to customary closing conditions, including NASDAQ and TSX approvals.
