Doubles the Size of the Partridge Gold Project in the Normetal-Perron Area, Abitibi, Quebec\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n Vancouver, BC -\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n October 13, 2020 - Royal Gold Mining Inc.\n(TSXV:ROYL)\n \n \n (OTC:NSVLF)\n \n \n (the\n\"Company\")\n \n \n is pleased to announce a\nmajor and important expansion of the Partridge Gold Project situated\nin Abitibi, Quebec.\n \n \n \n \n T\n \n \n he Project covers several unique\nhistoric gold and base metal (zinc +- copper) occurrences located on\nstructural trend with Amex Exploration Inc.'s high grade Perron Gold\nProject and the previously producing Normetal mine and VMS\ndeposit.\n \n \n \n \n The Project is comprised of a cluster of several\nmineral properties totalling 107.2 km\n \n \n 2\n \n \n located\n \n \n in the Abitibi region of northwestern Quebec.\nThe properties lie within a radius of approximately 20 to 60\nkilometers to the north and northeast of the mining town of La Sarre,\n \n \n approximately 120 road-km north of the mining\ncenter of Rouyn-Noranda, and about 720 kilometres northwest of\nMontreal. The region has a dense network of paved highways and\nall-season gravel roads.\n \n \n \n \n On October 8, 2020 the Company entered into a binding\nagreement to purchase 97 mineral claims totalling 5454.60 hectares\nfrom the Vendor. Together with 95 claims (5268.22 hectares) purchased\nfrom the same Vendor in January 2020 (see Company press release dated\nJanuary 17, 2020) the\n \n \n Project total is now 192\nclaims totaling 10722.82 hectares (\n \n \n 107.2\nkm\n \n \n 2\n \n \n ).\n \n \n \n \n No new properties have been created; rather the\nadditional claims have allowed the important expansion of 5 of the\nCompany's existing Partridge Project properties.\n \n \n \n \n The 97 claims were staked by the Vendor soon after the\nCompany purchased the original 95 claims in January 2020, hence their\navailability to the Company now despite the thousands of mineral\nlicenses that have been registered to others in the Perron and\nPartridge projects region since early this year.\n \n \n \n \n Pearson Property\n \n \n : The large Pearson property has now been expanded from 62 to\n88 claims, for a total of 4648.66 hectares (46.5 km\n \n \n 2\n \n \n ).\n \n \n \n \n Lac Authier Property\n \n \n : Four geographically separated ...
