Alexander Nubia Reports 66 metres grading 1.33 g/t Gold and 53.7 g/t Silver from Initial Deep Trenching Program at its Hamama VMS Deposit, Egypt
* Discovered a new mineralized VMS lens, the Valley VMS Zone, stratigraphically below the Main VMS Horizon. Deep Trench 72 (DT-72) returned 0.46% copper and 0.17% zinc over 24 m.
* Deep Trench 85 (DT-85) returned 104 m grading 0.6 g/t gold and 9.8 g/t silver including 44 m grading 1.25 g/t gold and 15.4 g/t silver.
* Deep Trench 87 (DT-87) returned 66 m grading 1.33 g/t gold, 53.7 g/t silver, and 0.11% copper with a core of 34 m grading 2.23 g/t gold, 93.9 g/t silver.
* Confirmed copper mineralization in footwall stringer zone - Deep Trench 82 (DT-82) returned 12 m grading 0.26% copper and 0.11% zinc in the stringer zone of the Central VMS Zone.
* More results are pending and expected shortly.
Toronto, Ontario CANADA, June 19, 2012 /FSC/ - Alexander Nubia International Inc. (AAN - TSX Venture), is pleased to announce initial results from an excavator-supported, deep-trenching program at its Hamama gold-zinc-copper-silver volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) property in Egypt. Initial results confirm the previously reported significant gold mineralization at surface in the Western VMS Zone. Initial geological interpretation surmises' that the Hamama VMS system experienced a series of volcanic-hydrothermal events, many of which culminated in the production of a VMS deposit and a footwall stringer zone.
Dr. John Payne, VP of Exploration commented, "The gold and silver assay results from the deep trenches in the Western VMS Zone (DT-85 and DT-87) confirm the results of the nearby shallow surface trenches. The widespread, zinc and copper values from the footwall stringer zone and in the Valley VMS Zone are potential indicators that below the zone of leaching, the Main VMS Horizon, and possibly some of the VMS lenses deeper in the system, contain zones with abundant base metals. We look forward to advancing our technical program to further develop the potential of Hamama."
Hamama Deep Trenching Program Highlights:
A New Discovery - the Valley VMS Zone (stratigraphically below the Main VMS Horizon)
* As announced in April 23, 2012, a geological mapping program discovered at least 34 individual VMS lenses, some of which appear to be along the same stratigraphic horizon. All of these newly discovered VMS lenses are stratigraphically below the Main VMS Horizon and increased the thickness of the mineralized region to 600 m. Deep Trench (DT-72), dug to a depth of 2.0 m below surface in one of these zones, the Valley VMS Zone, 400 m stratigraphically below the Main VMS Horizon, returned 24 m grading 0.46% copper and 0.17% zinc. Deep Trench 72 (DT-72) is perpendicular to the strike direction of the Valley VMS lens and lies within stringer mineralization and hydrothermal alteration.
Western VMS Zone (within the Main VMS Horizon)
* As announced in March 26, 2012, a shallow trenching program (10-15 cm below surface) discovered the Western VMS Zone, a gold-silver-rich gossan zone 650 m along strike and averaging 60 m wide that appears to contain relatively uniform mineralization averaging 1.15 g/t gold and 19.4 g/t silver. Initial deep trench results (at least 1 metre below surface) confirm the results of the shallow trenching. As announced in May 9, 2012, the Western VMS Zone was extended along strike to 1,100 m.
* Three excavator trenches were dug up to 1.5 m deep. Deep Trench 85 (DT-85), parallel to and 25 m east of Trench 9, returned 104 m grading 0.6 g/t gold and 9.8 g/t silver, including 44 metres grading 1.25 g/t gold and 15.4 g/t silver. As reported previously, Trench 9 returned 82 m grading 1.73 g/t gold and 39.2 g/t silver (March 26, 2012, News Release).
* Deep Trench 86 (DT-86) was dug along the part of Trench 9 that crossed the VMS zone; results are pending.
* Deep Trench 87 (DT-87), adjacent to Trench 7, returned 66 m grading 1.33 g/t gold, 58.7 g/t silver, and 0.11% copper including 34 m grading 2.23 g/t gold and 93.9 g/t silver. As reported previously, Trench 7 returned 50 m grading 0.98 g/t gold and 22.3 g/t silver, including 34 m grading 1.16 g/t gold and 23.2 g/t silver (March 26, 2012, News Release).
Central VMS Zone (FW stringer below the Main VMS Horizon)
* Four trenches up to 1.5 m deep were excavated in a recently recognized area of stringer mineralization and alteration 150 m stratigraphically below the Central VMS Zone. The area showed extensive chlorite and ankerite alteration and minor secondary copper mineralization. Deep Trench 82 (DT-82) returned 12 m grading 0.26% copper and 0.11% zinc. Deep Trenches DT-81, DT-83, and DT-84 encountered similar styles and grades of mineralization over various lengths (See Table 1).
* These results show that the footwall of the Main VMS Horizon contains significant base metals, which, based on the VMS model, is favourable for finding high-grade base-metal zones in the Main VMS Horizon.
A large, crawler-track mounted excavator equipped with a hydraulic hammer was mobilized to Hamama to begin a deep-trenching program for the purpose of sampling up to 2.5 metres below the surface. During the month of May 2012, 25 trenches were dug across several different targets. Three trenches were dug in the central part of the Western VMS Zone to confirm the presence of gold that had been discovered in shallow, hand-dug trenches. Other deep-trenches were dug to test the western extension of the Western VMS Zone, and to test the base- and precious-metal contents of some of the smaller VMS lenses stratigraphically below the Main VMS Horizon, of the widespread footwall stringer zone, and of footwall zones of alteration hidden by overburden. Additional results are pending and will be released when they have been interpreted.

Qualifying Person
The technical information contained in this news release was prepared or reviewed under the direct supervision of Mr. Ralph Gonzalez (P.Geo.), Alexander Nubia Inc.'s Project Manager for exploration in
Egypt. Mr. Gonzalez is a qualifying person under National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for
Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101").
QA/QC
Alexander Nubia employs an on-site sample preparation facility where core is diamond sawed into two equal halves; one half of the core is returned to its core box for permanent on-site storage and the other half, weighing approximately 2 kilograms, is crushed to minus 5 mm and riffle split to 500 g. The 500 g sample is pulverized to a nominal -75 mesh and divided into two halves. Rock and channel samples are processed similar to drill core samples except the diamond sawing stage is skipped. One half is delivered to the Egyptian Mineral Resource Authority for storage and the other half is shipped for analysis to the ALS Minerals laboratory in Romania. ALS Minerals is an internationally recognized and accredited analytical facility. ALS re-pulverizes all samples to insure the samples are homogenized and removes a one-assay/ton cut (approximately 30 grams) for gold analysis followed by an atomic absorption finish using industry accepted fire-assaying techniques. In addition, a 5-10 g sample is removed for Ag-Cu-Zn analysis by atomic absorption after digestion in aqua regia. Over-range copper (>10,000 ppm), zinc (>10,000 ppm) and silver (>100 ppm) are re-analyzed using readjusted atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) techniques. Selected samples are determined by inductively coupled plasma spectrometry - atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) after a four-acid digestion for 'near total' digestion. This technique scans a total of 33 elements. A quality control program consisting of blanks and analytical control standards has been implemented to monitor laboratory performance; this is in addition to ALS's internal QA/QC program. Discrepancies have been few, and when discovered, the 'laboratory batch' (generally 20 samples in a batch) is re-analyzed.
