Alexander Nubia Discovers Stacked Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide Horizons at its Hamama Deposit

* New VMS lenses discovered and visually traced over a strike length of 2,000 metres
* Geologic mapping has identified at least two dozen of these VMS lenses stratigraphically below the Main VMS horizon at a distance of 200 to 600 metres
* Individual VMS lenses range along strike up to 325 metres with a width of up to 28 metres

Toronto, Ontario CANADA, April 23, 2012 /FSC/ - Alexander Nubia International Inc. (AAN - TSX Venture),is pleased to announce results from a mapping program at its Hamama gold-zinc volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit in Egypt.   Hamama is located near excellent infrastructure:  32 kilometres from a highway, railway, and high-capacity electricity grid, and 90 kilometres from a major city, Qena, on the Nile River.  The Hamama deposit is 35 kilometres from the company's Abu Marawat gold-copper deposit.

Dr. John Payne, VP of Exploration, said, "The presence of abundant VMS lenses within a much larger zone of footwall alteration supports the interpretation that Hamama represents a major VMS system in which hydrothermal activity, culminating in VMS deposits, occurred repeatedly below and at the sea-floor-bedrock interface over an extended time period. Stacked VMS deposits representing repeated pulses of hydrothermal activity are common in many VMS districts, e.g., Noranda and Amulet (Canada), Campo Morado (Mexico)."

The discovery of lenses within the footwall of the principal VMS horizon suggest the presence of at least six stacked layers of VMS material within an open-ended zone traceable along strike for 2,000 metres.  These new VMS lenses have been flagged for deep channel surface sampling.  An excavator, equipped with a hydraulic hammer, has been mobilized for the purpose of trenching.  Geological mapping continues in this zone with the purpose of identifying more similar lenses.

Alexander Massoud, Chief Executive Officer, commented "The discovery of additional VMS lenses, combined with a 3,000+m strike of the main VMS is an strong indicator of the deposits potential. This is a positive step in validating the Hamama deposit which is located within the Arabian-Nubian Shield where a number of significant VMS discoveries have been made."

Other VMS deposits in the Arabian-Nubian shield (a mineralized belt that extends into Saudi Arabia and from Egypt to Eritrea) that either are in production or at an advanced stage of exploration include:

* Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX: ABX) - Jabal Sayid (Saudi Arabia)
* La Mancha Resources Inc. (TSX: LMA) - Hassai deposit (Sudan)
* Tigray Resources Inc. (TSX.V: TIG) - Harvest deposit (Ethiopia)
* Nevsun Resources (TSX:NSU) - Bisha deposit (Eritrea)
