Appointment of new Auditor

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONTAINS INSIDE INFORMATION FOR THE PURPOSES OF ARTICLE 7 OF REGULATION 2014/596/EU WHICH IS PART OF DOMESTIC UK LAW PURSUANT TO THE MARKET ABUSE (AMENDMENT) (EU EXIT) REGULATIONS (SI 2019/310) ("UK MAR"). Appointment of new Auditor

 

MetalNRG is pleased to announcement the appointment of RPG Crouch Chapman LLP ("Crouch Chapman") as the Company's new auditor for the year ended 31 December 2022.

 

The appointment of Crouch Chapman follows the resignation of its previous Auditor, Edwards Veeder (UK) Limited ("Edwards Veeder").

 

As required by Section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, Edwards Veeder has submitted a statement to the Company confirming that the reason for its resignation was that it had come to the decision not to apply for registration with the FRC as a PIE Registered Auditor and therefore it could not continue to provide audit services to MetalNRG. There are no other matters in connection with Edwards Veeder ceasing to hold office as Auditor that should be brought to the attention of the Company's shareholders.
