[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Feb. 26 /CNW/ - Argentex Mining Corporation (TSX-V: ATX,\nOTCBB: AGXM) is pleased to announce that it plans to exhibit core samples from\nits silver-indium-zinc-lead Pinguino property during the upcoming PDAC 2009\nconvention in Toronto. Management and in-house geological staff will be on\nhand in booth No.2816 to provide updates on the company's exploration projects\nin Argentina's Patagonia region.\n\n\nInformation about Pinguino is available on the company's web site at\nwww.argentexmining.com and by clicking on the "Property Abstract: Pinguino\nProject" link located on the main page of the web site.\n\n\nPDAC is a world-renowned mining event bringing together a wide range of\nplayers involved in mineral exploration from all parts of the globe. This\nyear's conference takes place March 1-4, 2009 at the south building of the\nMetro Toronto Convention Centre.\n\n\nAbout Pinguino\n\n\nArgentex's Pinguino property is located in Argentina's Patagonia region,\nwithin the Deseado Massif of Santa Cruz province. The 2006 discovery of\nsilver-indium-zinc-lead-gold mineralization at Pinguino marked a major\nexploration milestone for the company. This was the first discovery of its\nkind in the region, unique in that it contains both silver-gold and\nindium-enriched base-metal mineralization. This mineralization is contained in\nmultiple zones that remain open-ended along strike and to depth. Since 2006,\nexploration of base-metal-rich targets has expanded beyond discoveries at\nMarta Centro and Yvonne and now encompasses 15 drill-tested veins from more\nthan 35 veins mapped on the property to date. Argentex has drilled a total of\n269 holes at Pinguino for a total of 30,000+ meters (98,000 feet).\n\n\nFollowing receipt of all remaining analytical results and interpretation,\nArgentex anticipates completing its first-ever National Instrument\n43-101-compliant resource calculation for Pinguino by mid 2009.\n\n\nIndium, a significant component of Argentex's polymetallic discovery at\nPinguino, is a high-value metal used in flat-panel (LCD, plasma) displays, and\nin leading-edge thin-film solar cell technology.\n\n\nPinguino is easily accessible, situated approximately 400 meters (1,312\nfeet) above sea level in low-relief topography. An existing system of\nall-weather roads provides year-round access to the pro...
