This newly created role\nincludes responsibility for the company's corporate development activities,\nincluding the forging of new relationships with institutional investors,\nraising capital to fund the next phase of development, an expanded marketing\nprogram, and assisting with corporate governance and regulatory matters. Mr.\nVanry comes to Argentex after 10 years in institutional equity sales in\nLondon, UK, where he focused on the natural resource sector.\n\n\nMost recently, Mr. Vanry spent five years as Managing Director and Head\nof Equity Sales for Canaccord Adams. Under his leadership, Canaccord Adams\nbecame the number one investment dealer for distribution of Canadian equity\nand equity-linked products to European Investors. Prior to that, he was Vice\nPresident of US Equity Sales for Raymond James Ltd., also based in London. In\naddition, Mr. Vanry's background includes work as Vice President of Equity\nSales for Goepel McDermid (now Raymond James Canada) and as an Associate in\nScotiabank International's Latin American banking group. He holds an MBA from\nthe Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a\nBA from the University of British Columbia.\n\n\n"We are pleased to expand our management team with an executive of this\nhigh caliber," said Ken Hicks, President of Argentex.
