[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 2163V AstraZeneca PLC 01 November 2017 \n\n1 November 2017 07:00 GMT\n \nASTRAZENECA AND ASPEN COMPLETE AGREEMENT FOR\nRESIDUAL RIGHTS TO ANAESTHETIC MEDICINES\n \nAstraZeneca today announced that it has completed the commercialisation agreement (announced 14 September 2017) with Aspen Global Incorporated (AGI), part of the Aspen Group, under which AGI has acquired the residual rights to established anaesthetic medicines comprising of Diprivan, EMLA, Xylocaine/Xylocard/Xyloproct, Marcaine, Naropin, Carbocaine and Citanest.\n \nAstraZeneca initially entered an agreement with AGI in June 2016, under which AGI gained the exclusive commercialisation rights to the medicines in markets outside the US.
