(ARS)Asiamet Appoints Ausenco25-Oct-2017 / 07:00 GMT/BSTDissemination of a Regulatory Announcement, transmitted by EQS Group.The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.\n\n \n\n \n\nFor Immediate Release London AIM\n\n \n\n25 October 2017 Symbol: ARS\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\nAsiamet BKM Copper Project Feasibility Study - Ausenco Appointed Process Engineer \n\n \n\nAsiamet Resources (\"ARS\" or the \"Company\") is pleased to announce the appointment of Ausenco Limited (\"Ausenco\"), an international engineering, construction and project management company as the primary process engineering consultant for the Beruang Kanan Main (\"BKM\") Feasibility Study. \n\nHighlights:\n\nAusenco brings extensive experience in mineral project development globally, with particular expertise in Indonesia and in heap-leach - SX-EW copper recovery.\n \n\nBKM Feasibility Study activities continue to ramp-up, and the appointment of Ausenco further complements the world-class team ARS currently has working on the project. \n \n\nThe appointment of Ausenco provides Asiamet with a critical set of capabilities to successfully deliver the BKM Feasibility Study.\nAs previously communicated, ARS conducted a very thorough vendor selection process to identify the preferred consultant for the BKM Feasibility Study process engineering. Proposals were submitted from seven international engineering consultancies and following a detailed review and assessment, Ausenco was chosen as the preferred service provider.\n\nThe scope of work to be covered by Ausenco includes the design, engineering and cost estimating activities for the process area facilities required at BKM. The process area facilities include: the ROM stockpile; crushing and conveyor transportation circuit; agglomeration and stacking circuit; heap- leach pads, solution ponds, neutralisation plant and solution transportation systems; solvent extraction plant; electro-winning plant; and the related utilities (water and power) and waste stream requirements. Ausenco will also oversee the required geotechnical field investigations and laboratory testing programmes to support design of the heap-leach facility. \n\nThe SX-EW plant design, equipment pricin...
