[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n31 May 2023\n \nAseana Properties Limited\n \n(\"Aseana\" or the \"Company\")\n \nResults of General Meeting with a discontinuation resolution and Annual General Meeting\n \nAseana Properties Limited (LSE: ASPL), a property developer in Malaysia, listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, announces the results of and a General Meeting with a discontinuation resolution and its Annual General Meeting held 30 May 2023.\nGeneral Meeting with a discontinuation resolution\nThe Company is pleased to announce that at the General Meeting, shareholders have supported both the Board's recommendations, to vote against the ordinary resolution that the Company shall cease to continue as presently constituted and to vote in favour of the special resolution to amend the Company's Articles. As a result, the Company will hold another discontinuation vote in May 2025 but until then it will continue to seek to dispose of its assets in a measured manner.\n \nThe voting was as follows:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor / Discretion votes\n \n\n\n%\n\n\nAgainst votes\n\n\n%\n\n\nTotal votes cast\n\n\nAbstained votes\n\n\n\n\n1.
