The City International Hospital is located within Aseana's International Hi-Tech Healthcare Park development.\n \nConstruction of the 320-bed hospital started in May 2010 and was completed in June 2013. The hospital will be managed by Parkway Pantai Limited, one of Asia's leading private healthcare groups.\n \nSited on 2.5 hectares of land, the City International Hospital will be one of the largest international standard, private hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City with a floor area of 57,000 sq.m. across nine levels. The hospital will provide a wide range of services including: General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Otorhinolaryngology, Urology and Ophthalmology.\n \nThe hospital is the first phase of the International Hi-Tech Healthcare Park (\"IHTHP\"), a mixed-use scheme comprising world-class private hospitals, mixed commercial, hospitality and residential developments on a 37 hectare site. Located in the Binh Tan District, the healthcare park is approximately 11 km from District 1, the central business and commercial district of HCMC.\n \nAseana has a 67% equity interest in the IHTHP. The remaining interest is held by Aseana's joint venture partner, Hoa Lam Group, which holds a significant minority stake, together with a consortium of investors from Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.\n \nMohammed Azlan Hashim, Chairman of Aseana, said: \"After three years of planning and construction, we are delighted to launch the City International Hospital and hand over management of day-to-day operations to Parkway Pantai, an operator with over 30 years of excellent hospital management experience.
