[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n26 February 2025 \n \nAseana Properties Limited\n(the \"Company\" the \"Group\" or \"Aseana\")\n \nAdmission of Subscription Shares\nand\nTotal Voting Rights\n \nAseana Properties Limited (LSE: ASPL), a property developer in Malaysia listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange, announces an update on Admission of the Subscription Shares following the passing of the Resolution at the General Meeting.\n \nFirst Admission\n \nApplication has been made for the 34,637,499 First Admission Shares to be admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and to listing in the FCA Official List Equity Shares (transition) category (\"First Admission\").\n \nIt is expected that First Admission will become effective on or around 27 February 2025.\n \nSecond Admission\n \nConditional on the publication of the Prospectus, an estimated 33,552,501 Subscription Shares (being the Second Admission Shares) will be admitted to the Official List Equity Shares (transition) category under Chapter 22 of the UKLR and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange as soon as possible following First Admission and no later than 23 February 2026.\n \nTotal Voting Rights\n \nIn compliance with the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules (the \"Rules\"), the Company announces that, as at the date of this announcement, it has an issued share capital of 241,377,496 Ordinary Shares of US$0.05 each with one vote per Ordinary Share, and 2 Management Shares of $0.05 each, with one vote per Management Share. The figure includes: (i) the 33,552,501 Second Admission Shares which are yet to be admitted to trading and; (ii) the 13,334,000 Ordinary Shares which are held in treasury. Voting rights on Treasury Shares are not exercisable.\n \nTherefore, the total number of voting rights in Aseana is 228,043,498 and this figure may be used by Shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Rules.\n \nUnless otherwise defined, all capitalised terms used but not defined in this announcement shall have the meaning given to them in the Circular dated 21 January 2025, a copy of which is available to view on the Compan...
