[{"type":"text","content":"\n Artisan (UK) PLC\n08 January 2007\n\n\n Artisan (UK) plc\n\n New Site Purchases\n\nArtisan (UK) plc ('Artisan' or 'the Company'), the housebuilder and commercial \nbusiness park developer, is pleased to announce three recent land purchases at a \ncost of £3.6m.\n\nRippon Homes has recently completed the purchase of the new sites in and around \nMansfield, its core area of activity. These include a Mansfield Woodhouse site\nthat will consist of 22 homes, incorporating a mix of 4 bedroom detached homes \nand 3 bedroom starter family units, and a Mansfield site that will comprise of \n32 homes, with a similar mix to the Mansfield Woodhouse site.\n\nRippon Homes has also completed the purchase of a site for their premium brand, \nLiving Heritage, in the centre of Farnsfield, a village situated between Mansfield\nand Nottingham. This site is more select and will provide for 10 larger detached \nand semi-detached homes on a rare site in this historic village.\n\nChris Musselle, Chief Executive of Artisan commented:\n\n'The acquisition of these sites is in line with our objective of acquiring new \nsites to provide for future growth in the business.
