[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 2188U Artisan (UK) PLC 12 October 2010 \n \n\n \nFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE \n12 October 2010\n \n \nARTISAN (UK) plc\n \nPRELIMINARY RESULTS FOR THE YEAR TO 30 JUNE 2010\n \nArtisan (UK) plc (\"the Group\"), the AiM listed house builder, business park developer and property investor announces its preliminary results for the year to 30 June 2010. \n \nKey Points:\n \n \n· Group turnover for the year reduced to £9.4m (2009: £10.9m)\n \n· Operating loss contained at £1.5m (2009: loss £6.8m) \n \n· Loss before tax reduced to £1.9m (2009: loss £8.1m)\n \n· Residential division: volumes have stabilised due to moderate recovery in residential customer confidence\n \n· Commercial division: signs of forward sales returning despite difficult market conditions\n \n· Board negotiating revised banking agreements for post 1 July 2011\n \n \n \nMichael W Stevens, Non-executive Chairman, commented:\n\"Although there are signs that sentiment is beginning to improve in our core markets, confidence is fragile.
