("Stratic" or the "Company") announces that\n it has filed its information circular and proxy statement (the\n "Circular") for the upcoming special meeting at which the Company's\n shareholders will be asked to consider and vote upon the\n previously-announced plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement") with\n EnQuest PLC ("EnQuest") under the Business Corporations Act\n (Yukon) (the "YBCA").  Pursuant to the Arrangement, EnQuest proposes to\n acquire all of the issued and outstanding Stratic shares in exchange for\n EnQuest shares on the basis of 0.089626 of an EnQuest share for each\n Stratic share.\n \n\n The special meeting is scheduled to be held at 10:00 a.m. (Toronto time)\n on November 2, 2010 at the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville Hotel in\n Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  Further details are set forth in the notice\n of meeting that is included with the Circular.\n \n\n The Company has commenced mailing copies of the Circular and related\n documents to its shareholders.  Copies of the Circular, together with\n the accompanying instrument of proxy for use at the special meeting and\n letter of transmittal by which registered shareholders of the Company\n may surrender the certificates representing their Stratic shares in\n exchange for the EnQue...
