[{"type":"text","content":"Arrow Exploration says CN-2 Well results exceeds company expectations\n \n \n (NewsDirect)\n \n \n \n \n Arrow Exploration CEO Marshall Abbott\njoined Steve Darling from Proactive with an update on the operational\nactivity at the Carrizales Norte (CN-2) field on the Tapir Block in\nthe Llanos Basin of Colombia, where Arrow holds a 50% beneficial\ninterest.\n \n \n The CN-2 well was spud on\nJune 15, 2023, and successfully reached target depth on June 23, 2023.\nDuring drilling, the well encountered multiple hydrocarbon-bearing\nintervals. After completing testing, it was found that the CN-2 well\nin the Ubaque formation has approximately 60 feet of net oil pay. The\nUbaque formation is a clean sandstone with consistent characteristics,\nexhibiting 26% porosity, four Darcy permeability, and high\nresistivities from the top of the sand to the base of the sand.\n \n \n Following the successful testing, an\nelectric submersible pump was installed in the well after perforating\nthe formation. The log responses from the Ubaque formation in both\nCN-1 and CN-2 wells were very similar, which led the company to make\nthe decision to proceed directly to perforation and well production of\nthe Ubaque in CN-2. This has provided valuable insights for the\ncompany regarding drilling targets and potential re-completion\nopportunities in the future.\n \n \n Arrow Exploration is eagerly\nawaiting the results from the CN-3 well, which will provide crucial\ninformation to determine the size of the pools in the field and the\npotential reserves additions.
