(AIM: CON) are pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Cullen in the new position of Chief Executive Officer. This is a non-Board appointment and is effective from 14 August 2017.\n \nPatrick Cullen brings over 20 years of experience in the mining and exploration sector, most recently as a director of Kodal Norway (UK) Limited. His exposure to the financial markets includes being the exploration manager for African Energy Resources Ltd. during its listing in 2007 on the Australian stock exchange (ASX). He was also the Project Manager responsible for defining an initial phosphate resource for Montero Mining and Exploration Ltd. (TSX-V).\n \nMr. Cullen has in-depth knowledge and experience in technical and operations management in both the mining and exploration environments gained while at Schlumberger, AngloGold and Placer Dome in regions including South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Malawi. \n \nPatrick will drive the activities of Connemara by working with the Company's existing joint venture partners, developing Connemara's wholly owned licences and exploring new directions.\n \nPatrick holds an MBA (Project Management) from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia (2008). He graduated from University College Cork with a Bachelors in Science in 1992 and completed a Bsc. (Hons) Geology at the University of Portsmouth in 1994.\n \nJohn Teeling, Chairman, commented \"We are delighted to have Patrick join us, bringing relevant mining and exploration experience and knowledge of capital markets.
