ALBANS, England, February 12, 2008 - ARC\nInternational (LSE: ARK) today announced that it has acquired Sonic Focus, Inc.,\na privately held U.S. company located in Northern California. Sonic Focus\nprovides award winning audio enhancement technology that already has achieved\ndesign wins in a number of desktop PCs and laptops, and currently is designed\ninto a wide range of consumer electronics products. Sonic Focus's products\nrecreate studio quality audio when audio fidelity has been degraded due to\ndigital compression. Sonic Focus's products are widely considered to have the\nmost robust audio solutions for music enthusiasts, and bring natural surround\nsound to digitally compressed stereo files. The acquisition is not\nexpected to negatively impact ARC's 2008 operating results.
