The program established on a\npreliminary basis the optimum crush and recovery characteristics of\nthe 1-2 grams per tonne gold material tested.\n \n\n\n Agitation leaching at various grind sizes\nwas performed to assess gold and silver extractions for milling\npurposes. The column test work was completed at several crush sizes to\nassess gold and silver extractions under simulated heap leach\nconditions.\n \n\n\n\n\n Greg Hahn, Vice President of Exploration, commented\n \n\n “We have yet to see\nsulphides in old workings or in our drilling at Philadelphia. That\nbeing the case, we are very pleased with the results of test work\non\n \n\n what I see as potentially\nlarge volumes of oxide material.\n \n\n The program demonstrated excellent\n \n\n g\n \n\n old\nextractions and modest silver extractions (as expected). Importantly,\nthe column leach work demonstrates that our metal extractions at\nPhiladelphia are in line with other heap leach operations in the\nregion. The columns were still leaching gold at the end of the 177-day\ntest period. Projections out to 360 days indicate additional\nextractions to 70% to 80% could be achieved, as during a commercial...
