The focus\nof this phase of the test program is to further establish low-cost\nheap leaching as a viable gold extraction method.\n \n\n\n Highlights:\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Successful Phase 1 column leach metallurgical test\nprogram\n \n\n\n demonstrated the amenability of the gold-bearing material from the\nPhiladelphia project to low-cost, heap leach extraction\nmethods\n \n\n\n , with 61-73% gold recoveries\nachieved.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Phase 2 column leach metallurgical test work has\ncommenced on a 415-kilogram bulk sample. This test work will integrate\nHigh Pressure Grinding Roll (“HPGR”) technology to enhance gold\nrecoveries; and\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Drilling at Philadelphia is ongoing\nand has to date, demonstrated widths and grades of mineralization that\nelsewhere in the district are commercially viable for a heap leach\ngold operation.\n \n The metallurgical test work is\n \n designed to\n \n demonstrate the viability of Philadelphia\nfor a similar large-scale project.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Phase 2 Column Leach\nMetallurgical Test Program\n \n\n\n\n\n\n The Phase 2 column leach test work will\nconsist of four parallel column tests:  two columns of conventionally\ncrushed material, and two columns of HPGR crushed material, each at\ntwo different crush sizes (nominally -6.3mm and -12.5mm) for a period\nof 90 days.\n \n\n\n\n The objective of the test program is to\nassess whether HPGR crushing improves on both gold recovery and rate\nof recovery, and to quantify any increases realized\n \n\n\n\n . In addition, tests will be performed to\nassess proper levels of cement addition for agglomeration and\ncompaction permeability tests on all column feed material.  Power\nrequirements for HPGR crushing will also be provided.  ...
