[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n\n\n\n25 November 2008\nAIM / PLUS Markets: AAU\n\n\n\n PERMITTING AT KIZILTEPE COMPLETED\n\n\n\nAriana Resources plc (\"Ariana\" or \"the Company\"), the gold\nexploration company\n\nfocused on Turkey, is pleased to announce the receipt of its final\noperational permits\n\nfor the Kiziltepe prospect, in Balikesir Province, western Turkey.\n\n\n\nDr. Kerim Sener, Managing Director, commented:\n\n\n\n\"The receipt of our final permits at Kiziltepe represents a\nsignificant milestone in the\n\ndevelopment of the project. These permits provide us with the\nfreedom to plan\n\neffectively for additional trial mining at this location, and will\nallow us to scale up operations quickly.\n\n\n\n\"We are in discussions with several parties on the future development\nof the Kiziltepe\n\nproject. The Company is aiming to define the most value-added route\nfor the project in\n\nthe short to medium term.\"\n\n\n\nPermit Status\n\n\n\nThe Kiziltepe project is now fully permitted for formal mining\noperations to commence.\n\nThe permits currently held at the project include:\n\n\n\n * Mining Permit: This permit provides permission to mine and covers\n the entire Kiziltepe vein field.\n * Environmental Permit: This ensures the project meets certain\n environmental requirements and covers the Arzu South, Arzu North\n and Banu veins.\n * Forestry Permits: These are required only in forested parts of\n the project area for which access was sought primarily for\n drilling purposes. A larger forestry permit covers the Arzu\n North vein in which trial mining has already commenced.\n * Health and Safety Permit: This ensures the Company complies with\n certain health and safety regulations, and the permit covers the\n entire project area.\n * Blasting Permit: This provides permission to use explosives\n during mining. This covers the entire project area but in\n practice is currently limited to an area on the Arzu South vein.\n\n\n\nThe Company has also secured certain surface rights which were\nannounced on 18 July 2007.\n\n\n\nMining Status\n\n\n\nThe Company now holds a stockpile of approximately 2,000 tonnes of\nore from the\n\nArzu North vein which was mined in accordance with Turkish mining law\nby mechanical\n\nmethods prior to receipt of the blasting permit.
