[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n\n\n\n\n28 July 2011\nAIM / PLUS Markets: AAU\n\n\n GEOPHYSICAL RESULTS ON RED RABBIT\n\nAriana Resources plc (\"Ariana\" or \"the Company\"), the gold exploration and\ndevelopment company focused on Turkey, is pleased to announce positive results\nfrom a comprehensive geophysical programme completed across satellite prospects\nat the Kiziltepe Sector of its Red Rabbit Gold Project in western Turkey. This\nprogramme of work was designed to establish continuity of vein systems, using\ngeophysical techniques (IP/resistivity) that are particularly effective in this\nenvironment.\n\nHighlights:\n\n * Extensive geophysical programme carried out over the Kepez West and\n Karakavak prospects\n\n * Results of programme indicate numerous high priority drill targets, located\n on several linear high chargeability and resistivity anomalies\n\n * Large high resistivity and chargeability anomalies identified at the Kepez\n West prospect indicate a probable sulphide-rich zone that lies near to\n surface\n\n * Two main gold-bearing quartz veins at the Karakavak prospect are connected\n by a sub-surface structure which provides a total of 1.7km of untested\n strike length\n\n * Drill targets to be refined and drill programme planning underway\n\n\n\nDr. Kerim Sener, Managing Director, commented:\n\n\"Due to the positive results obtained from earlier geophysical programmes\nundertaken at Kiziltepe, we have now completed programmes at the satellite\nprospect areas of Kepez West and Karakavak. Results from these programmes have\nindicated numerous chargeability and resistivity anomalies, which we understand\nto represent near surface, mineralised quartz veins and related alteration. It\nis our aim to further expand the Kiziltepe resource base by following up and\ndrilling these new targets over the next year.\"\n\nDetails of Geophysical Programme\n\nThe geophysical programme was undertaken over two prospects located within the\nSindirgi Gold Corridor, a north-east trending mineralised zone extending from\nthe Kiziltepe prospect in the southwest to the Kizilcukur prospect in the\nnortheast. The geophysical results reported here are from the Kepez West and\nKarakavak prospects which are 5 and 8km away respectively from Kiziltepe (Figure\n1). The geophysical programme was carried out over these two areas, total...
