TSX Venture Exchange Symbol "BEN"

CALGARY, Sept. 7 /CNW/ - Berens Energy Ltd. ("Berens") is pleased to
announce that its common shares have been approved for listing on the Toronto
Stock Exchange ("TSX"). Trading of Berens' shares on the TSX will commence at
the opening of trading on Thursday, September 8, 2005. Berens' common shares
will be de-listed from the TSX Venture Exchange as of the close of trading on
Wednesday, September 7, 2005.
