Berens Energy Ltd. Announces Change of Location for Annual General Meeting

CALGARY, May 16 /CNW/ - Berens Energy Ltd. ("Berens") today announced
that, as a result of a fire at The Calgary Petroleum Club, the location of the
Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of Berens, to be held at 3:00 p.m.
on Thursday, May 19 2005, has been moved to the mezzanine level of 500 - 4th
Avenue S.W. Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, May 19, 2005. In order to facilitate
the attendance of those who require extra time to travel to the new location,
the meeting will be delayed 30 minutes and will commence at 3:30 p.m. (Calgary
time) on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at the location as set out above.
