(“Ares” or the “Company”) (TSXV:ARS) (OTC:ARSMF)\n(FRA:N8I1), is pleased to announce the Company’s metallurgists and\nprocess engineers have greatly improved both grades and recoveries\nduring on-going metallurgical work.\n \n \n The Company has been continuously refining its flotation and upgrading\nprocesses, and its flotation expertise ever since achieving its\ndesired product of acidspar. Acidspar is a 97% CaF2 (fluorspar)\nproduct which comprises almost 70% of the fluorspar market. Acidspar\nis required for aluminum manufacture, fluorine for medical\ningredients, refrigeration units, Teflon, hydrofluoric acid, and\nelectronics. Through continued work the Company has refined its\nmetallurgy and processing, to achieve an almost completely pure CaF2\nproduct from its raw fluorspar taken from its Utah mine.\n \n \n Additionally, the Company has been working to improve the amount of\nmaterial recovered during its upgrading process. Through a combination\nof adjusted reagent levels, float times, grind size, and collectors,\nthe Company has determined the best methodologies for its particular\nfluorspar deposit and has achieved over 92% recoveries when\nmanufacturing its high grade metspar – another fluorspar product.\nMetspar is used in the manufacture of steel, ceramics, fiberglass, and\nassists with desulfurization and dephosphorization during smelting\nprocesses to enhance the tensile strength of forged metals. A metspar\nproduct of over 90% CaF2 is considered high-grade, and commands higher\nselling prices than more common metspars.
