The Lumps Plant will be the only one of its kind in the United\nStates, so Ares has arranged for experienced international operators\nto accompany the plant to Utah, where they will assist with the\nconstruction and optimization of the plant. Figure 1 shows the\ncomponents and steel structures which have shipped to Ares’\nindustrial site.\n \n \n \n \n Metallurgical fluorspar lumps are an extremely in\ndemand upgraded industrial product used in the steel industry.  The\nCompany is looking to supply internally within North America as part\nof its role as the only domestic U.S. producer once it reaches\nproduction. In 2018 the U.S. government classified fluorspar as a\nCritical Mineral, “deemed critical to U.S. national security and the\neconomy”. Fluorspar remains the only non-metallic Critical Mineral\nwhich is 100% imported in the entire country.
