Knowledge Technology Solutions PLC 21 December 2001 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE KNOWLEDGE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS PLC (the 'Company') 21 December 2001 Following the recent placing with Dresdner RCM Global Investors (UK) Ltd ('Dresdner'), the Company were notified on 21 December 2001 that the combined disclosable interest of Allianz AG Group, of which Dresdner is an indirect subsidiary, amounts to 4,150,000 shares. This represents 5.157% of the ordinary issued share capital of 80,472,461 shares issued by Knowledge Technology Solutions PLC. The present position in respect of the disclosable interests of the subsidiaries of Allianz is as follows: * Kleinwort Benson Channel Islands Limited, KBIM International Limited and Kleinwort Benson Investment Management Holdings Limited are interested in 3,230,000 shares representing 4.013% of the issued capital.
