[{"type":"text","content":"\n Knowledge Technology Solutions PLC\n03 March 2008\n\n3 March 2008\n\n\n\n Knowledge Technology Solutions Plc ('KTS')\n\n\n\n Arcontech announces expansion of StarNet market data platform\n\n for Tradition Group\n\n\n\nFollowing its successful implementation of Arcontech's CityVision StarNet market\ndata platform, Tradition Group (www.traditiongroup.com/uk) has extended this\nsystem to manage contributions to Bloomberg in London. The migration of the\nBloomberg contributions from the previous system was achieved in a matter of\ndays.\n\n\n\nThe Tokyo hub has also been rolled-out, to support local contributions to a\nnumber of vendors in that region. The deployment, achieved within a week, is\nintegrated with the London hub and provides seamless data transfer between the\nlocations. Other data collection hubs throughout the world are in the process\nof roll-out. Currently the data platform collects data from 10 offices globally\nwith further expansion planned for 2008.\n\n\n\nThe StarNet system collects data from various sources, including in-house\ntrading systems and numerous Excel spreadsheets. It enables managed real-time\npublishing to many destinations, including Reuters, Bloomberg and Tradition's\nRMDS platform, as well as to other global offices.\n\n\n\nCommenting on these improvements Dominique Velter, Strategic Marketing Director\nat Tradition said: 'We chose the Arcontech system over competitors because we\nwere convinced that it would meet our growing business requirements quickly and\nefficiently.'\n\n\n\nAndrew Miller, managing director of Arcontech, added: 'It's great to be involved\nwith a dynamic and forward-thinking firm like Tradition.
