The Project is considered prospective for\n \n \n playa-type brine\n \n \n deposits as it is located near to, and shares geological similarities\nwith, the Silver Peak lithium brine operations in the Clayton Valley\nowned by Albemarle Corp., which represents the only lithium-producing\nbrine operation in North America. However, the Project is also\nconsidered very prospective for\n \n \n lithium claystone mineralization\n \n \n in the richly\nmineralized Esmeralda lithium district of Nevada.\n \n \n \n \n Brine Target\n \n \n -\nThe Miller’s Crossing Project covers a known playa in the Big Smoky\nValley, approximately 40 kilometers east of Albemarle’s Silver Peak\nlithium brine operation which have been in continuous production since\n1967. A playa is an internally drained brine deposit, the surface of\nwhich is primarily composed of silts and clays in which lithium can\naccumulate from the surrounding source rocks during successive\nevaporation and concentration events. Evaluation of surrounding\ngravity data has led to the hypothesis that the Big Smoky Valley has\nbeen in-filled with an estimated 2,000 to 2,500 metres of alluvial\nfill and many have the potential to host a significant lithium\ndeposit. The principal target on the Miller’s Crossing Project is a\nlarge northeast-trending gravity-low anomaly which is suggestive of an\nin-filled basin. The Big Smoky Valley was investigated with regional\nreverse circulation (RC) drilling by the United States Geological\nSurvey (USGS) and anomalous lithium values were enco...
