[{"type":"text","content":"\n\nOur CEO, Pierre Taillefer,\ncame back a few weeks ago from China where he has been stationed for the last\nfew years.\n\nHe was involved with\nAquagold International earlier mainly in logistics, shipping and suppliers.\n\n \n\nHe lived in many places\nin China, establishing ties with various Chinese companies, increasing his business\nand political ties. During that time he took the opportunity to learn the\nlanguage and the culture, specially the business culture.\n\n \n\nWhen we asked him to take\nover the Chinese operations as CEO, we felt that he was ready to tackle the\nchallenge and that he was the right man to face the complicated Chinese market.\n\n \n\nThis is his first\nofficial report to the Board on March 17, 2013:\n\n \n\n“Based on my knowledge of\nAquagold’s strength and business foundation, there is no doubt in my mind that\nwe are very well positioned to yield better results in China. The years spent\nat building our ties were not in vain; to the contrary! But now we have re-oriented\nour efforts towards new business people and some new political allies in order\nto achieve the results that we expected all along. \n\n \n\nArmed with new vision I\nhave assembled a solid team in China. We have been pursuing a few readily\navailable options such as:\n\n1. \nPossible acquisitions\n\n2. \nNew joint ventures\n\n3. \nExpansion\n\n4. \nNew products\n\n5.
