The retailer is working with delivery logistics platform Bringg, a company that offers an Uber-like or Amazon-like level of visibility to retailers’ delivery operations. The business model that Amazon and grocery retailers like Walmart and Kroger utilize is primarily focused on customers shopping for groceries inside their stores and ordering groceries online to be delivered to the home or picked up at the store. DeliverySwift will work on adding the smaller mom and pop groceries who cater to specific areas and thus already have established a brand and business relationships with their local customers.
