[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 8513U Antofagasta PLC 12 April 2016 \n\n \nNEWS RELEASE,12 APRIL 2016\n \nPUBLICATION OF 2015 ANNUAL REPORT AND 2016 NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING\n \nAntofagasta plc (the \"Company\") will today post its 2015 Annual Report and Financial Statements and notice of the Annual General Meeting of the Company (the \"2016 AGM Notice\") to shareholders. \nThe 2015 Annual Report and Financial Statements, which was approved by the Board of Directors on 14 March 2016, constitute the Company's statutory accounts for the purposes of section 434 of the Companies Act 2006 and the Annual Financial Report for the purposes of DTR 4.1.\nThe Annual General Meeting will be held at Church House Westminster, Dean's Yard, London SW1P 3NZ on 18 May 2015 from 10 a.m. \nIn compliance with LR 9.6.1, the Company has submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority each of the following documents: \n· 2015 Annual Report and Financial Statements\n· 2016 AGM Notice\n· Form of Proxy for Ordinary Shareholders for Annual General Meeting\n· Form of Proxy for Preference Shareholders for Annual General Meeting\n· Letter to Shareholders regarding Electronic Communications\n \nThese documents will shortly be available for inspection via the National Storage Mechanism, www.hemscott.com/nsm.do, which may be searched by company name and filing date and/or document type. The 2015 Annual Report and Financial Statements and 2016 AGM Notice are also available on the Company's website at www.antofagasta.co.uk.\nIn compliance with DTR 6.3.5, the following information is extracted from the 2015 Annual Report and Financial Statements and should be read in conjunction with the Company's Preliminary Results Announcement issued on 15 March 2016.
