Purchase of Own Securities

Anglian Group PLC 28 June 2000 Anglian Group PLC announces that on 27 June 2000 the company acquired 7,037,998 Anglian Group ordinary shares at a price of 150p per share for cancellation. This represents approximately 9.9 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the company prior to the purchase and cancellation of shares.
