[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nAnglesey Mining plc reports that hole AMC 17, the third hole in the 2005\ndrilling programme at the Parys Mountain property in Anglesey, Wales, has\nintersected 20 metres of mineralisation at the Engine zone at a depth of 485\nmetres.\n\nThis zone includes an interval of 14.7 metres with an average grade of over\n10.3% combined copper, zinc and lead including one high grade section of 5.5\nmetres which assayed over 22% combined metal.\n\n\"The substantial 20 metre width of the mineralisation, and the assay grades in\nthe Engine zone, makes the results from AMC 17 very significant in relation to\nthe Parys Mountain Project\" said John Kearney, Anglesey's chairman.\n\nHole AMC 17 was collared approximately 400 metres west of hole AMC 15 which, as\npreviously reported, encountered similar mineralisation at the Engine zone and\nwhich intersected a narrower but higher grade intersection of 2.5 metres\naveraging over 40% combined metal, and approximately 600 metres east of the\nMorris Shaft, the location of the company's published resources in the Engine\nzone.\n\nThe assay results for AMC 17 are preliminary and are for the Engine zone only.\nThe hole intersected three other relatively narrow zones of mineralisation and\nfurther assay results, including all gold assays , are awaited.\n\nFull details of all intersections will be announced when final assays are\nreceived and interpreted.\n\n\nFor further information please contact:\nIan Cuthbertson, Finance Director + (44) 1248 361333\nBill Hooley, Executive Director + (44) 1492 541981\nJohn F.
