[{"type":"text","content":"\n Anglesey Mining Strengthens Board\n\nReinforces Project Development and Operations Capability\n\nAnglesey Mining plc is pleased to announce two new appointments to the board of\ndirectors:\n\n · D W (Bill) Hooley as an Executive Director, and\n · Roger W Turner as a non-executive director.\n\nBoth these new directors are professional mining engineers with many years\nexperience in the development and operation of mining properties throughout the\nworld. The board believes that the additional skills and knowledge that now will\nbe available to the company will be important for the rapid development of the\ncompany's Parys Mountain base metal and Labrador Iron Ore projects.\n\nBill Hooley\n\nBill Hooley has extensive experience in Australia, the UK and North America in\nmineral project development and assessment. A graduate in Mining Engineering\nfrom Imperial College, Royal School of Mines, he is a Fellow of the Australasian\nInstitute of Mining and Metallurgy. He has worked for a number of major mining\ncompanies as well as running a number of junior mining companies. He was until\nrecently managing director of Micon International Co Limited, the\ninternationally respected minerals consulting group.\n\nAs Executive Director Mr Hooley will concentrate his efforts on both bringing\nthe Parys Mountain mine into production and to providing assistance for the\ndevelopment of the Labrador Iron Ore project. His appointment as Executive\nDirector will significantly add to the management resources of the company, as\nwell as providing the necessary impetus to move the company's assets towards\nproduction. Mr Hooley is also a director of Delta Pacific Mining plc.\n\nRoger Turner\n\nRoger Turner has more than 30 years worldwide experience in mine engineering,\nmanagement and project development in both open pit and underground mining. A\ngraduate in Mining Engineering from the Camborne School of Mines, with an MSc in\nEconomic Geology from Leicester University, he is a member of the Institution of\nMining and Metallurgy UK, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and\nthe American Institute of Mining Engineers.\n\nEarly in his career he worked as a mine manager for Noranda and Hudson Bay in\nCanada and for Falconbridge in Africa.
