I had never actually\ncompleted an affiliate marketing campaign, so I figured what better way to\nexperience the functionality of the platform than to give it a real time try.\n\n\n\nThese are the functions and steps that I experienced:\n\n\n\nI\n started by researching using the “spy tool” to find some keywords that\n could be used to promote products. \n The spy tool allows you to look at existing keywords and current\n advertisements that are currently being used as they are found on internet\n search engines. \nOnce I\n found a market that I thought would do well, I used Campaign Matrix to\n search through many different affiliate offers and find the best offer\n where I could utilize the keywords that I found in step 1. (See below)\nI\n created a small media buy and set my maximum pay per click at .25 and my\n daily budget at $100.00.\nJust\n before 10:00 pm, the ad went live.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe total creation of this\ncampaign took less than 30 minutes to complete. I did not use all of the functionality of Campaign Matrix as I\njust wanted to do a quick test.\n\n\n\nThis ad ran overnight and when I\nlogged in this morning, I found that my small test campaign had the\nadvertisement displayed 923 times and it cost me 71 cents to obtain 3 click\nthroughs, resulting in commissions in the amount of $23.75. Yes, that is correct, I spent a total of 71\ncents on this campaign and the commissions were $23.75. \n\n\n\nThis was my first test of the\nCampaign Matrix and trying the affiliate platform. I am happy to report that it did a great job of finding an under\nexposed market where I was able to create many variat...
