[{"type":"text","content":"\n Aminex PLC\n16 July 2007\n\n\nNOT FOR RELEASE, PUBLICATION OR DISTRIBUTION IN PART OR IN WHOLE IN OR INTO THE \nUNITED STATES, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, SOUTH AFRICA OR JAPAN\n\n\nFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE\n\n\n16 JULY 2007\n\n\n Aminex PLC (\"Aminex\" or \"the Company\")\n\n\n Result of Rights Issue\n\n\n\nAminex PLC today announces that it has received valid acceptances in respect of\n14,465,371 New Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 51.4 per cent. of the\ntotal number of New Ordinary Shares offered to Qualifying Shareholders pursuant\nto the 1 for 6 non-underwritten rights issue announced by Aminex on 15 May 2007\n(the \"Rights Issue\").\n\nIn accordance with the terms of the Rights Issue, Davy and Bridgewell may now\nseek to procure subscribers for the shares which were not validly taken up in\nthe Rights Issue, including fractional entitlements and the entitlements of\noverseas shareholders who were unable to participate.
