Since opening on May 25, 2024 this exciting venue has been offering an extensive selection of over one hundred board games, along with a variety of snacks and drinks.Strategic Expansion to a Premier Location: The decision to launch a pop-up at The Wellington Market was made swiftly, thanks to the minimal initial investment required and the unique opportunity to showcase Snakes & Lattes in an upscale, vibrant environment. ‘The Well’ is a distinctive live, work, dine, and shop destination in Toronto, aligning perfectly with our desire to reach new markets.Test Run with Potential for Long-Term Presence: This pop-up serves as a test run, with no fixed duration, allowing the Company to assess the location's performance over the first few months. Our partners at ‘The Well’ have been highly supportive, giving us the flexibility to adjust based on results.Retail Expansion: Plans are underway to set up a retail section within the pop-up, offering board games and branded merchandise, enhancing the Snakes & Lattes experience and providing additional revenue streams.Initial Performance and Adjustments: Since our opening, we have seen promising sales figures, bolstered by welcome events for friends, family, influencers, and gift card redemptions. We are adjusting our hours of operation to maximize visitor engagement, with shorter hours Monday through Thursday and full hours Friday through Sunday, aligning with the observed traffic patterns that have been experienced thus far.Partnership with ‘The Well’ Events Team: We have officially partnered with ‘The Well’ events team, securing a feature on their website and exterior signage. We will host a general trivia night every two weeks, alternating with our Annex location, and monthly events such as mix and mingles and puzzle competitions.
