(NASDAQ: AMBA), an edge AI semiconductor company, today announced first quarter fiscal 2026 financial results for the period ended April 30, 2025. Revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2026 was $85.9 million, up 57.6% from $54.5 million in the same period in fiscal 2025.Gross margin under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for the first quarter of fiscal 2026 was 60.0%, compared with 60.9% for the same period in fiscal 2025.GAAP net loss for the first quarter of fiscal 2026 was $24.3 million, or loss per diluted ordinary share of $0.58, compared with a GAAP net loss of $37.9 million, or loss per diluted ordinary share of $0.93, for the same period in fiscal 2025. Financial results on a non-GAAP basis for the first quarter of fiscal 2026 are as follows: Gross margin on a non-GAAP basis for the first quarter of fiscal 2026 was 62.0%, compared with 63.4% for the same period in fiscal 2025.Non-GAAP net profit for the first quarter of fiscal 2026 was $3.0 million, or earnings per diluted ordinary share of $0.07. This compares with non-GAAP net loss of $10.5 million, or loss per diluted ordinary share of $0.26, for the same period in fiscal 2025. Based on information available as of today, Ambarella is offering the following guidance for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, ending July 31, 2025: Revenue is expected to be between $86.0 million and $94.0 million.Gross margin on a non-GAAP basis is expected to be between 60.5% and 62.0%.Non-GAAP operating expenses are expected to be between $52.5 million and $55.5 million.
