[{"type":"text","content":"\n Hambledon Mining PLC\n24 November 2005\n\n\n\n HAMBLEDON MINING PLC\n\n Drilling results and project progress\n\nHambledon Mining Plc ('Hambledon' or the 'Company), an AIM-listed mining and\nexploration company developing precious metal deposits in Kazakhstan, announces\nthe results from the recent drilling programme and other progress with the\nSekisovskoye project.\n\nHighlights:\n\n •Drilling results show significant extensions within open pit area\n\n\n •New zones identified in upper levels\n\n\n •New lower level resource statement adds 2.4% to resource (upper levels\n not yet updated for 2005 results)\n\n\n •Two new mineralised areas, Glinka and Krugliachka, being acquired\n\n\n •Environmental assessment for mill facility completed and submitted to the\n state Environmental Protection Department\n\n\n •Tailings location study and environmental assessment completed\n\n\n •Processing plant preliminary design completed; upgrading of access roads\n underway\n\nNick Bridgen, Chief Executive of Hambledon Mining Plc, commented:\n\n'The very high rate of discovery at Sekisovskoye has continued. Overall, 32 holes with an average depth of 115m and a maximum of 175m\nwere drilled to determine possible extensions to and continuity of the\nmineralised zones and also for upgrading confidence levels by infill drilling.\nIn all, 3,392 samples, representing over 3.3 linear kilometres of core, were\nfire assayed for gold with grades ranging from 0 to 90.4g/t.\n\nThe highlight of the programme was represented by Drillhole GE...
