("Alturas") (TSX-V: ALT)\nis pleased to report that it has identified a copper-gold mineralized trend\ngreater than 1,300 meters in length and up to 250 meters wide at its Chapi\nChapi project in southern Peru. Best copper-gold intervals from geochemical\nsampling of two separate trenches include continuous sections of 18.0 meters\nassaying 12.7% copper and 0.13 grams/tonne gold, and 18.0 meters assaying\n1.58% copper and 2.84 grams/tonne gold, in an area of historical copper-gold\nworkings in skarns. In addition, the company is rapidly moving towards drill\ntarget definition at its Sombrero copper-gold project in southern Peru.\n\n\nChapi Chapi Copper-Gold Project\n\n\nMiguel Cardozo, President of Alturas commented: "Exploration at Chapi\nChapi has confirmed strong surface copper-gold anomalism hosted by partially\noutcropping skarn bodies. In addition we continue to discover additional\ncopper and gold anomalies hosted within the intrusive rocks and also within\nquartzites.
