[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTORONTO, Dec. 31 /CNW/ - Anatolia Minerals Development Limited\n("Anatolia" or the "Company") (TSX:ANO) regrets to report that an employee of\nits earthworks contractor, Entes-Tekyol, was killed today while operating a\nbulldozer at the Company's Copler Gold Project in Turkey. Entes-Tekyol reports\nthis as the first fatality in its 40 years history; this is the first fatality\nat Copler.\n\n\nEdward Dowling, President and CEO of Anatolia stated, "The safety of our\nemployees and contractors is our highest priority. We are deeply saddened by\nthis event. On behalf of our entire company, I wish to extend our sincerest\ncondolences to the family and colleagues of the deceased."\n\n\nAppropriate authorities have been notified and are participating in the\ninvestigation, which is expected to be completed during the first week of\nJanuary 2009.
