Karakartal is located approximately 15 km southeast of Anatolia's\nCopler Gold Project, which is currently under construction.\n\n\nLocked cycle flotation testing of a composite sample from recent diamond\ndrilled holes demonstrates a high level of amenability of Karakartal ores to\nrecovery using standard flotation techniques. Head assays, recoveries and\nmetal values in concentrate are reported below. A more detailed report of the\nlocked cycle flotation test is posted on Anatolia's website\n(www.anatoliaminerals.com).\n\n\n Cu Au Ag\n\nHead Assays 0.34% 0.39 gpt 1.00 gpt\nRecoveries 91.58% 81.22% 34.5%\nConcentrate Metal Values 25.20% 24.40 gpt 23.00 gpt\n\n\nThe composite test sample was generated by combining approximately 110 kg\nof drill core samples from Karakartal drill holes KDD-006, KDD-007 and\nKDD-009. Sub-samples were utilized to determine mineralogy, work index, grind\noptimization, reagent optimization and flotation characteristics. The highest\nflotation recoveries for both copper and gold were for grind sizes in the\nrange of 80% passing (P80) 106 microns to a P80 of 90 microns. Ore composite\ngrindability test data at 106 microns indicated a calculated Bond Mill Work\nIndex value of 14.1 KWhr/t (kilowatt hours/tonne).\n\n\nEdward Dowling, President and CEO of Anatolia stated, "This first round\nof metallurgical testing is very encouraging and indicates a simple flotation\ncircuit can produce a clean, high quality concentrate. Several opportunities\nto optimize copper and gold recoveries were identified and will be evaluated\nin future test-work. We expect these results to favorably affect the\npreliminary assessment being prepared for Karakartal."\n\n\nThe Karakartal porphyry system is characterized by a dioritic to\nmonzonitic intrusive located in a package of hornfelsed metasediments and\nlimestones. The limestones and metasediments represent the Jurassic/Cretaceous\nMunzur Formation. The metasediments are the lower portion of this sequence and\nhave been widely hornfelsed and locally mineralized by the younger intrusive\nevent. Alteration is dominate...
