Support also went to initiatives that bring communities together, such as building playgrounds and special events like fairs.\n\n\n\nEnvironmental stewardship: Alliant Energy advanced its goal to plant a million trees by the end of 2030. Since July 2021, the company has helped plant over 627,000 trees in Iowa and Wisconsin.\n\n\n\nWorkforce readiness: To aid in the development of a solid workforce and attract future employees, the company worked to create accessible paths for students through a variety of scholarship opportunities. Over 100 students received scholarships with contributions totaling more than $114,000 to offset tuition costs and student loans.\n\n\n\nHunger and housing: In partnership with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, the Alliant Energy Foundation launched Dairyland Delivery, a program designed to get fresh, locally produced dairy into the hands of families who need it most. Alliant Energy’s support allowed Dairyland Delivery to expand into several rural counties in Eastern Wisconsin including Fond du Lac, Sheboygan and Wood.\n\n\n\n“Every day, we support the prog...
