[{"type":"text","content":"\n Allergy Therapeutics PLC\n04 May 2006\n\n\n\n Allergy Therapeutics plc, \"Allergy Therapeutics\" or \"the Company\"\n \n Result of Extraordinary General Meeting\n\n\nAllergy Therapeutics plc (AIM: AGY), the specialiast pharmaceutical company\nfocused on allergy vaccination, is pleased to announce that all resolutions at\nthe Company's Extraordinary General Meeting, held earlier today, were duly\npassed.\n\n\nThe Board is pleased to report that 19,000,000 new ordinary shares have been\nplaced with existing and new investors raising approximately £18.2 million, net\nof expenses. This additional capital will primarily fund the completion of the\nCompany's development pipeline of innovative ultra-short course allergy\nvaccines, Pollinex Quattro, through to registration.\n\n\nIt is anticipated that the new shares will commence trading on 5th May 2006. The\nnew shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares. Following admission of\nthe new shares the Company will have 81,950,632 ordinary shares in issue.\n\n\nCommenting on the announcement, Keith Carter, Chief Executive of Allergy\nTherapeutics, said:\n\n\n\"We are delighted that our shareholders have overwhelmingly approved the\nfundraising proposed by the Company.
